About Kelly DiBernardo

I have been in the color consultant field for over 15 years. In 2000 I joined an architectural firm that specialized in community and residential design. In the following decade I was able to transform the firm’s basic color design activities into a fully resourced department. In this role I provided the full range of color related services including color and materials selection, job bidding, painter’s legends and client meetings.

Project experience has included single  family homes, apartment and condominium complexes, luxury custom homes and mixed-use communities. In addition to the United States, several of these projects have been located internationally in countries including Mexico, China, Russia and Dubai.

Color is my passion. I also understand the importance of matching color palettes with architectural styles and am familiar with the colors appropriate for those styles.

When considering interior applications I understand how to put colors together that complement one another as well as how they appear to differ with various lighting conditions and locations.  There is also a significant visual difference between warm and cool hues, which can be difficult to determine from paint swatches.

Color can bring new life into an old space. My vision is to connect people with the colors that bring joy into their lives every day.
